I was born and raised in Hampton Roads Virginia and I graduated from York High School in 1982. After three years of military service, I was accepted into the apprenticeship program at Newport News Shipbuilding and graduated four years later as a journeyman sheet metal worker.

It was during my years at the shipyard that I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior and answered the call to ministry. I attended church at York Assembly of God where I met and was mentored by my spiritual father Reverend Carl Holland.

Connie and I were married in 1993. Five years later, we started Faith Fellowship Church in Williamsburg, Virginia. God blessed us with two lovley daughters, Sarah and Emily.

I began working on my education while serving as pastor of Faith Fellowship. I received a bachelors degree in theology from Impact School of Ministry in Huntsville Alabama and a Master’s degree in biblical counseling from Global Grace Seminary. In 2021, I earned a PhD in Clinical Christian Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary in Wheat Ridge Colorado.

I am a certified Temperament Counselor and hold an advanced certification as a liscensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor with The National Christian Counselors Association. I am also a board certified Advanced Christian Life Coach with The I.B.C.C

My ministry credentials are with the Potomac District Council of the Assemblies of God and I have served in full time ministry since 1998
